Wells House Kindergarten, Stoneclough Bolton wereplanning to celebrate their 20th anniversary and wanted to create a welcoming and professional image to front of the building for their clientele. The quality service we provide to David Lloyd Clubs led to GDL Painting being recommended to this new client.
The decorative railings along the length of the boundary wall were dull and faded in colour and aesthetically did not enhance the kerb appeal of the building.
Initial preparation was carried out by washing down and removing any flaking paint from the railings. Surfaces were then sanded with 120 and or’ 80 grit papers to ensure a good surface key was provided. Areas affected by rust were treated and primed with rust inhibiting primers prior to applying two full coats of Dulux Metal-shield.
Finial decorative spears were prepared as above and one coat of Ardenbrite premium silver metallic base coat paint was applied followed by two full coats of Ardenbrite clear lacquer to enhance the metallic effect of the basecoat.
The newly decorated railings now look like new and are much more in keeping with the professional image and kerb appeal Wells House had hoped for.
